E.M. Loew

Movie King E.M. Loew owned over 100 Drive-In theaters, Foxborough Race Track, resort hotels in MIami Beach and New Hampshire, luxurious homes in Boston and Miami Beach and The Latin Quarter nightclubs -- but Sonja was the love of his life. While touring Europe scouting for new talent for The Latin Quarter E.M. spotted Czekoslavakian beauty queen Sonja and after a few dates, asked her to return to America with him and she soon became his wife.

They married and divorced, and even though he later married someone else, they lived together at their estate in Milton, Massachusetts until the day he died. Theirs was a partnership built on glamorous productions and cultural gatherings.
